Board-certified obstetricians and gynecologists participating in the Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program can get an update on the efforts of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) Sunday morning.
Susan Ramin, MD, associate executive director, Maintenance of Certification, American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, will present “2018 ABOG Maintenance of Certification Update” from 10:15 to 11:05 am in Room 12AB. Dr. Ramin directs ABOG’s article-based assessment MOC program and the Lifelong Learning & Self-Assessment (Part II) and Assessment of Knowledge, Judgment, and Skills (Part III) integration pilot program.
During Sunday’s session, Dr. Ramin will review the current ABOG program for MOC requirements and the 2017 survey results from Year 6 Diplomates. ABOG was reviewing those results in the weeks leading up to the Annual Meeting. She also will help attendees understand the MOC changes and enhancements implemented for 2018.
