Participate in ACOG’s national election process by attending the National Officer Candidates Forum from 2 – 5 pm today in the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel, Sapphire Ballroom AB.
This Candidates Forum is open to all ACOG Fellows. Light refreshments will be served.
Candidates for the positions of president-elect, treasurer, assistant secretary, and Fellow-at-large will present their qualifications, make a prepared statement, and answer questions developed by the National Committee on Nominations. After the Annual Meeting, Fellows will be able to view the list of candidates, photographs of each candidate, and a one-page summary of their CVs on the ACOG website.
ACOG promotes an environment of respect, fairness, integrity, and inclusiveness. Members who have not been involved with ACOG before are encouraged to apply or run for volunteer or leadership positions on the section, district, and national levels. ACOG is also committed to enlisting and promoting talented volunteers and maximizing the diversity of our volunteers and leaders. Please view the ACOG Diversity Statement for Volunteer and Leadership Positions (www.acog.org/-/media/Departments/National-Officer-Nominations-Process/DiversityStatement.pdf).
If you cannot attend the Candidates Forum, attend your 2017 ACOG Annual District Meeting and discuss the candidates with your district officers and your district’s National Committee on Nominations representatives. Send comments to the Committee about the candidates. Your comments will be taken into consideration and are always welcome.
