While most people think of career fairs for those just starting out in the field, the ACOG Career Fair encourages all attendees to participate, no matter their years of experience.
This year’s event, the third annual ACOG Career Fair, takes place from 8 to 10 am Tuesday in the San Diego Convention Center Ballroom 6B. Job seekers should pre-register for the Career Fair at http://resources.healthecareers.com/2017-acog-career-fair-registration.
Employers who participate are hiring nationwide for a variety of full time, part time, and locum positions.
The Career Fair makes the job-seeking process easy and efficient. Attendees can network with several potential employers in one location and ask questions about those opportunities in a no-pressure environment. If a job seeker finds an intriguing match, the Career Fair makes it easy to set up discrete one-on-one interviews.
This year’s event again takes place next to and just after the Junior Fellow and Young Physician breakfasts. More than 30 employers from across the country are expected to attend, including:
- Adventist Health

FREE Headshots available at Career Connection Live
Attendees can get a professional headshot taken at this year’s Career Connection Live booth.
The booth is open from 8 am to 5 pm today in the Sails Pavilion.
Those who come by and get their picture taken will receive a complimentary professionally edited digital file of their photo via email after the meeting. The booth will also have products available to help everybody look their best for the photos.
Career Connection Live is designed for anyone who is interested in new opportunities in the field and offers many of the same features as ACOG’s online job board, which is available the whole year.
A free review of curricula vitae (CV) — one of the most popular parts of Career Connection Live — is also offered. Those interested should schedule a 20-minute review to sit down with a CV expert to receive any changes and edits. During this time, they can also learn about interview tips and tricks and ask questions regarding contracts or anything else that they may face during their job search process.
The booth also has printers so job-seekers can print out CVs to take to Tuesday’s Career Fair.
