It’s a great time to be looking for a job in health care, and a great time for the first-ever ACOG Career Fair this year to help women’s health care professionals find the right job.
The Career Fair takes place from 2 to 4 pm Tuesday in the Exhibition Hall at the Moscone Center.
ACOG designed the Career Fair to make the job-seeking process easier and more efficient. On Tuesday, attendees can network with several potential employers in one location and review literature about potential employment opportunities in a no-pressure environment. Employers registered to attend include:
- Arlington Women’s Center, PLLC
- Community Health Systems
- Essentia Health
- Geisinger Health System
- Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates
- Jackson & Coker
- Kaiser Permanente — The Permanente Medical Group, Inc.-Northern California
- Labette Health
- Marshfield Clinic
- Ministry Health Care
- Mountain Medical Group
- OB Hospitalist Group
- Spectrum Health
- WellHealth Medical Group
- Women’s Health Associates of Southern Nevada
If a job seeker finds an intriguing match, the Career Fair will make it easy to set up private, discrete one-on-one interviews.
In addition to the employer networking opportunities, an expert will be on site to review and offer suggestions to those about curriculum vitae and resumes.
The Career Fair is free for attendees. All attendees should bring hard copies of their resumes or CVs, as well.
Besides the Career Fair, the ACOG Career Connection continues to provide the largest source of ob-gyn jobs and resumes. Go to www.healthecareers.com/acog to check out ACOG Career Connection.
