Exhibition Hall Free Lunch, Coffee
Enjoy a free lunch Monday in the Exhibition Hall between 12:15 and 1:15 pm.
The Hall will be open from 10 am to 5 pm today and Monday in Halls D-E of the Washington Convention Center. Please note that Monday is the last day to see exhibitors this year at the Annual Meeting.
This year’s Hall will feature more than 250 exhibitors. Go to acogdailynews.com to see an interactive map of the Hall and a list of exhibitors.
Today, ACOG will play host to a pair of 30-minute coffee breaks — one at 10:15 am and the other at 3 pm — in the Hall.
Product Theaters this year will again be outside of the of the Exhibition Hall and will take place in Rooms 206 ABC and 209 ABC, which will provide a more intimate classroom environment. Check your registration bag and the Final Program for a complete listing of product theaters.
Mix and Mingle Alumni Reception Tonight
The Mix and Mingle Alumni Reception takes place from 6 to 8 pm today at the Marriott Marquis Washington, DC Salons 1-5. The event brings together alumni from more than 20 medical schools for an evening of hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and fun.

Junior Fellow Day
The following events help you begin the transition from residency to practice. Today’s sessions include exam information from ABOG, a closer look at subspecialties, and a look at the business and personal finance issues of practicing medicine. The day concludes with a special reception.

Medical Student/JFCAC Officers/Young Physician Officers Reception
The second-annual ACOG Career Fair takes place Monday from 8 – 10 am at the Marriott Marquis Hotel Marquis Salons 1-5 across the street from the Washington Convention Center. Attendees can network with several potential employers in one location. The Career Fair will make it easy to set up discrete one-on-one interviews.
More than 30 employers from across the country are expected to have booths at this year’s Career Fair.
ACOG again will offer Career Connections Live, which brings all of ACOG’s online career center services to Annual Meeting attendees. It will be open from 8 am – 5 pm today and Monday on the L Street Bridge in the convention center. Providing the same features available year-round through ACOG Career Connection, Career Connection Live is designed for anybody, no matter their level of experience, to learn about other opportunities in the field.
Free review of curricula vitae and resumes will be available. Schedule a 25-35 minute review and find out what questions recruiters ask and what questions job applicants need to ask during interviews. The booth also has printers so job-seekers can print out CVs and resumes to take to Monday morning’s Career Fair.
