Advocacy Booth

Are you tired of politicians interfering with your practice? State and Federal legislators all seem to think they’re women’s health experts these days. It’s up to us to teach them the facts—and to hold them accountable. Stop by the ACOG Advocacy Booth to find out how to do all of this and more!

The Gellhaus and McCain Advocacy Lunch: Politics, Advocacy, and Women’s Health Care

Friday, May 3 12:00 PM – 1:15 PM
Like it or not, politics impacts our specialty. Laws passed in state legislatures and in the US Congress can do great good OR great harm to our patients and practices. As Ob-Gyns, we must engage in the legislative process. Whether you have a mild interest in politics, are new to ob-gyn advocacy, or are a full-fledged policy fanatic, plan now to attend this engaging lunch about politics and women’s health care, hosted by ACOG’s McCain and Gellhaus Advocacy Fellows. You’ll see why advocacy is one of the most important ways that Ob-Gyns can lead and succeed.

Registration required.  Tickets: $100.
