SESSION TYPE DESCRIPTIONS
The ACOG Annual Clinical and Scientific Meeting has session types to appeal to any learning style. Choose the ones that are best for you or sample from among the wide variety. Please note some session types require additional fees. Consult the Registration section for more information.
Colloquia are keynote lectures held throughout each day of the scientific program. Many of the sessions will feature debates covering current and controversial topics. These sessions are open to all meeting registrants.
These 60-minute sessions are interactive lectures on topics of special interest with a course director leading the discussion. There is no additional fee to attend these popular sessions; however, registration is required.
This session features a panel of Presidents from subspecialty societies who will bring you up-to-date on the hot topics and current trends that have the most impact. This session is open to all meeting registrants.
These 3 hour and 6 hour courses provide a didactic and interactive (hands-on) component so participants can further immerse themselves in learning. Additional fee. Lunch is provided for 6 hour courses only.
The Film Festival will present a select number of films showcasing various procedures and research in the advancements of the field of obstetrics and gynecology. This session is open to all meeting registrants.
The Flipped Classroom is a new style of adult learning that features interactive and comprehensive learning and retention. Registrants will receive video and supplemental materials prior to the session to review. This enables the session to focus on more memorable content. There is no additional fee to attend these popular sessions; however, registration is required. Pre-meeting materials will be sent to you for review.
In this forum, attendees enjoy a box lunch while listening to topics of particular clinical importance to their practice. Additional fee of $55.00.
Enjoy stimulating, professional exchanges during lunch. Subjects of special interest will be the focus of these small group discussions. Each group is limited to 9 attendees in addition to the discussion leader. Additional fee of $55.00.
