Call for Proposals

The 2027 Annual Clinical & Scientific Meeting (ACSM) will take place May 21–23, 2027, in Los Angeles.

There are multiple opportunities to contribute to the scientific and educational program. Please review the sections below for details on session proposals, abstracts, and reviewer participation.

The ACOG Annual Clinical & Scientific Meeting brings together the obstetrics and gynecology clinical community for three days of cutting edge education, collaboration, and connection focused on advancing evidence based women’s health care.

Session Proposals for ACSM 2027

The Call for Session Proposals for ACSM 2027 Is Now Open

We invite clinicians, educators, researchers, and interdisciplinary partners in obstetrics and gynecology to submit session proposals that address current practice gaps, emerging evidence, and innovative approaches to patient care. Sessions are designed to be clinically relevant, evidence based, and applicable to daily practice.

All sessions are presented in person and are 60 minutes in length. Proposals must meet programmatic, CME, and presenter requirements to be considered.

Call for Abstract Reviewers

The Call for Abstract Reviewers Is Open

We welcome qualified ob-gyn clinicians, educators, and researchers to participate in the abstract review process. Reviewers play a critical role in shaping the ACSM scientific program by ensuring submissions meet standards of quality, relevance, and scientific rigor.

Abstract Reviewer Requirements:

  • Be a board‑certified ob‑gyn with relevant clinical, educational, or academic expertise.
  • Be a current ACOG member in good standing.
  • Preference will be given to ob‑gyn Residency Program Directors or Associate/Assistant Program Directors.
  • Demonstrate experience in clinical education, research, quality improvement, or evidence‑based practice within obstetrics and gynecology.
  • Be available to complete reviews during the designated abstract review period (October–November 2026).
  • Commit to reviewing assigned abstracts objectively, confidentially, and by established deadlines.
  • Disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest and recuse themselves when appropriate.
  • Medical students, interns, and residents are not eligible to serve as reviewers and are kindly asked not to apply.

Abstracts, Films, and “Stump the Professor” Cases

The call for Abstracts, Clinical Films, and Stump the Professor cases will be released at a later date.

These submission categories provide opportunities to share original research, unique clinical insights, and challenging cases that promote discussion and learning. Submission guidelines, categories, and deadlines will be announced once available.
